Michael Jordan, the greatest basketball player of all time, was initially cut from his high school team. He becomes a six-time champion. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and his family moved to Wilmington, North Carolina. His parents, James R Jordan Sr and Deloris, were strict in discipline as a good sense of discipline made him work hard. After he was cut from his team for being too short he grew 4 inches and joined the varsity team and scored a couple of 40 point games and after high school he was invited to the McDonald's All American game where he scored 30 points.
Michael was highly recruited out of school, choosing the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to play under legendary coach Dean Smith, who ran the team-oriented ship, was Freshman of the Year, and hit the winning shot for the game over Georgetown and they won the NCAA Championship. Michael was drafted third by the Chicago Bulls in the 1984 NBA draft from 1984 to 1993. He took a break from basketball and played baseball for a while and came back from 1995 to 1998 and then missed for the first time and then went back to play. for the Washington Wizards from 2001 to 2003 and it was finally finished in 2003. Michael has had the most decorated career, never losing in a Finals in his life. He won the rookie of the year award in 1984 and took the basketball world by storm, selling out Chicago Stadium for the first time. Chicagoans loved Michael, he played hard, he played to win at all costs. He scored 16 points in his debut, quickly became a fan favorite in opposing arenas in subsequent games, and was voted an All Star his rookie year. He had to wait some time for his first Championship, it came only in 1991, he was beaten and bruised and the pistons had the Jordan Rules just for him, he overcame this obstacle on his way to his first championship where he beat Magic and the Lakers. He had already won his second MVP award at that time and also his first Finals MVP award. The bulls would win the 1992 and 1993 finals tagging the top three mobs. The second three mobs took place after his one year absence from basketball, he was playing minor league baseball. He returned to basketball during the 1995 season where the Bulls would make history during this time, they were the first team to have 72 wins in one season. He is also a two-time Olympic gold medal winner. He was also a two-time defensive player of the year, as well as being a regular at the All Star Game.
