Amazon.com's Alexa voice assistant was down for thousands of users in the United States on Sunday, according to outage tracking website Downdetector.com. More than 9,000 users reported problems with Alexa. Users also reported problems accessing the Amazon mobile app. Also read: Amazon's Alexa turns 5 in India and can now speak with a male voice too Amazon did not immediately respond to questions from Reuters about the reasons for the outage and the estimated time for resolution.
