It's been almost a year since GPU chipset giant NVIDIA introduced its Nvidia Low Reflex technology. Now, this Low Reflex technology comes to Valve's most anticipated project, Counter Strike 2. Now it is proving to be the true successor of Counter Strike franchise, and now it provides gamers with the most seamless gaming experience. Valve is introducing reflection reduction technology to the game. Eagle-eyed CS fans are eagerly awaiting this feature to come to CS like most of its competitors like Valorant. Call of Duty: Warzone 2, Fortnite, Overwatch 2, and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege have already adapted this technology into their gameplay. With Nvidia Reflex, Counter Strike will feel more responsive and the click-response ratio will be close to zero. For a competitive title like Counter Strike, it is necessary to adopt this feature so that the difference of a split second can open the door to victory. In a since-deleted Reddit post, he claimed that Valve was working with Nvidia to bring Reflex to the game. Although the limited beta version does not have Reflex functionality, it is speculated that it will be added to Counter Strike with its global release.

Nvidia claimed that with Reflex technology, it can reduce your system latency by up to 33%, which may not be very effective for single player title, but essential for competitive sector. This feature is available for Nvidia GeForce GTX 900 up to the latest graphics cards.

Latency is what you input from your mouse-keyboard to its actual response deviation before feedback appears on the screen. Recently, in a presentation video, Nvidia described this partnership with Intel Core i9 12900K, the response time of the GTX 1060 drops from 26ms to 17ms, with the RTX 3060 it will go from 16ms to 11ms and with the upcoming RTX 40 series the latency drops to just 8 ms.

In recent years CS gamers have mostly relied on the controller level feature and a few tweaks here and there to reduce latency. The introduction of latency in games will see nine out of ten competitive shooters adopt this technology, only PUBG lacks this feature.

With Nvidia Reflex, Counter Strike 2 will be more effective in clicking heads.
