The reveal trailer laments that Minecraft Legends follows the almost identical template, easy for casual gamers to pick up, but packed with depth and a ton of content.
In Minecraft Legends we can see a large collection of resources to build a massive defense system; we can also see new worlds and nether portals.
Minecraft Legends Story
The main story arc of Minecraft Legends is about "uniting the Overworld" against the Piglin army. The story follows a legend in which a great hero will rally the Overworld to fight against Piglin's invading army. It seems you must join armies of mobs, creepers, and zombies to defend your world against Piglins and push them back into the Nether. The story can be enjoyed in cooperative and competitive multiplayer.

Will there be multiplayer in Minecraft Legends?
Minecraft Legends will feature a separate PvP mode, in addition to its campaign. You can go with a maximum of 8 players to explore the world. There will be no third parties to fear; piglins will be controlled by AI in each game level.
It's nice that Mojang still keeps the collective spirit alive in Minecraft Legends. They have designed the multiplayer mode to last between 20 and 30 minutes each, but there will be no traditional cooperative mode.
Will there be crossplay support?
Minecraft Legends will have cross-play support from day one. This means that Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch players will be playing together. No matter which platform you have, you can join your friends from other platforms and enjoy.
Minecraft Legends Release Date
Minecraft Legends will be released on April 18, 2023. This release date was revealed in January during the Xbox Developer Direct.
