Description

While UEFN has already been at the center of controversy on Twitter with creators making videos of Fortnite worlds that directly replicate the designs of other popular games, Epic is trying to avoid any legal complications by removing content that could be owned by others. Epic even places limits on creators recreating Fortnite history by not allowing monetization of experiences that replicate maps from the first Fortnite chapter that ended in 2019. However, creators can recreate those maps if they respect Epic's intellectual property and the DMCA guidelines. It's still unclear how many notices it would take for a creator to receive a permanent ban, but according to Epic's IP and DMCA guidelines page for Fortnite creators, the company will place notices on your account for "all cases" of infringement. of intellectual property not finally resolved in their favour".

While Epic's strict rules may discourage some creators from sharing their adaptations of other games made in Fortnite, we can at least take joy in the fact that we can fall back on classic Tilted Towers.
