When an unexpected trip happens, it becomes difficult for anyone to queue at the station for a train ticket without a reservation. Also, during rush hours, getting a train ticket on time becomes extremely difficult. But by using Indian Railways UTS mobile app, it is easy to book some train tickets like unreserved, platform and season tickets for all trains. UTS ticket booking will make the travel experience easier for train passengers. Especially for those who travel daily by train or have to make an unplanned trip. To use the app, passengers need to sign in to the app with their mobile phone number and create a password. Once registered, they can use the app to book tickets, check ticket availability and get train schedules. Passengers can also use the app to cancel their tickets if necessary. - Unreserved Ticketing System (UTS) is a mobile application launched in 2014 by the Center for Railway Information System (CRIS), a subsidiary body of Indian Railways, to generate or cancel unreserved train tickets, book tickets season, renew passes and purchase platform tickets.

Passengers can book five different types of train tickets using the official mobile ticket app for Android:
- Reservation of normal tickets
- Quick ticket booking
- Platform reservation
- Subscription reservation/renewal
- QR reserve
-Search for the UTS mobile app on Google Play or Apple iOS and download it.
- Register in the application with your phone number, name, gender and date of birth.
- A password generator will be available. Create an individual and memorable password for your UTS app.
- Accept the terms and conditions of the UTS mobile application.
- Click the Sign Up button.
- To book tickets, enter your username and password.
-Choose between paperless and paperless
- Select the stations "Leave from" and "Go to".
- Select "Next" and then "Get Rate".
- Press the "book a ticket" button. Pay for your trip using a variety of methods including R-wallet/UPI/net banking/card.
- Tickets can be viewed in the UTS app by selecting the "show ticket" option. Paper tickets can be printed at origin or at the general reservation desk using the reservation ID received in a notification on the UTS app.
-In the UTS app, tap on the R wallet icon.
- Select recharge wallet.
- Enter the amount to recharge.
- Pay with UPI, net banking, credit or debit card.
- When you complete the process, money is added to your R-wallet.
UTS app users will receive a 3% bonus on R wallet fees.
Passengers using the unreserved ticket booking app can board the train three hours after booking.
To book platform tickets, you must be within 2 km of the station or 15 meters from the railway.
Passengers can purchase season tickets for three, six or twelve months.
