The patch will take players on an exciting adventure beneath the Dragon Isles to Zaralek's Cavern, where they will face off against powerful elemental villains known as the Incarnates. But that's not all danger and misfortune in the cave; Players will also be able to hang out with cute little mole friends and watch snail races at their leisure. Game director Ion Hazzikostas describes the patch as a convergence of different threads, all of which have a legacy theme. Players will join forces with Dragon Aspects to take on villains incarnated all the way to the lab. Meanwhile, Drachthyr on both sides of the conflict is eager to investigate the lab and discover its origins. Zaralek Cavern features three distinct biomes, including sulfur pools, massive crystalline expanses, natural volcanoes, and lava pools. The cavern was a technical challenge to create, but the game's engineers rose to the occasion, laying the groundwork for the underground areas that will likely be explored in future patches and expansions.
In addition to the cavern, the patch will bring new content to Dragon Isles, including new quest lines for Blue Dragonflight and the Titan Tyr. Players will be able to ride dragons across the islands and seamlessly enter the cavern without dismounting.
But the real excitement lies in Aberrus, the Grim Crucible, a nine-boss raid deep into the heart of Neltharion's ancient laboratory. All the different draconic factions in the Dragonflight conflict are racing to get there first, and players will be on the edge of their seats to see who emerges victorious.
