Canada on Monday blocked Chinese social media app TikTok from government-issued devices, saying it posed an "unacceptable" level of risk to privacy and security.
Canada has also decided to prevent federal employees from downloading the app in the future, the Secretary of the Treasury Board of Canada said in a statement.
