League of Legends players are in luck as the highly anticipated patch 13.5 is going live soon. Among the many changes and updates, specific champions will be nerfed to balance the game. One of the champions that will take a hit is none other than Gangplank, one of the most popular picks in high-level and professional League of Legends competition.
The champion is known for his world ult, Cannon Barrage, which deals massive amounts of damage and has a significant impact on the map. Gangplank has a high skill cap, making him difficult to master. However, experienced players dominate the rift, making him one of the best top lane champions in ranked solo/duo and pro play. To further balance the game, League of Legends developers reduced Gangplank's base AD growth from 4 to 3.7 and reduced E (Powder Keg) bonus damage on critical hits from 10% to 5% in patch 13.1b. Despite these nerfs, he is still one of the strongest champions.
