"Un-Googley": Pichai criticized for Bard"s "rushed" and "sloppy" ad

Google CEO Sundar Pichai has reportedly come under internal criticism over the introduction of Bard, an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot that Pichai himself announced on February 7 and is seen as a direct competitor to Google. OpenAI ChatGPT.

According to CNBC, which published the report, Google employees took to Memegen, the tech giant's popular internal forum, to criticize the CEO, describing Bard's presentation as "hasty," "sloppy," and even "not Google."

"Dear Sundar, Bard's launch and layoffs were rushed, careless and short-sighted. Please return to a long-term perspective," one message read, and he received numerous updates from employees.
