Description
This Valentine's Day, people may face a new situation to distinguish between love letters written by a human and a machine, according to the findings of a McAfee report. The antivirus software company surveyed 5,000 people from nine countries, including India, according to a Mint report. The report says that Indians, 62%, are the most likely to use artificial intelligence to express their feelings.
Many Indians have also reportedly fallen in love with ChatGPT, the AI chatbot developed by San Francisco-based AI research firm OpenAI. The study titled "Modern Love" found that 78% of the Indians surveyed could not understand the difference between love letters written by humans and those generated by ChatGPT. Notably, 73% of Indian respondents have used AI to enhance their profiles on online dating sites. While lack of trust topped the list of reasons why people used AI to write their love letters (59%), lack of time and inspiration (32% and 26% respectively) were the other factors. 14% of respondents thought the chances of getting caught were slim, so AI was an easy solution.
