Description
City of Quetta situated in South-Western Pakistan was hit by a suicide bomber on November 30, 2022 which resulted in the killing of one police officer and two civilians. Also, this blast wounded dozens around the spot of blast. Armed group named Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan(TTP) claimed the responsibility for this blast.
This blast is the first blast carried out after TTP ended ceasefire with the Government. DIG Ghulan Azfar Mahesar is posted in Quetta, he told the reporters that the target was the vehicle carrying the security personnel deployed to Protect the polio vaccination campaign workers.
Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif condemned this attack and also expressed hi grief over the death of civilians and police official.
As per TTP this attack was planned to take the revenge for the death of Omar Khalid Khorasani and they also mentioned the their attacks will continue.
