Latest reports from Pakistan's army family came into light. The relatives of Gen Bajwa of Pakistan army have become billionaires in 6 year tenure of Gen Bajwa. The value of known assets and business of the army chief, both within and outside Pakistan are amounted to Rs 12.7 Billion. It is stated that the amount did not include the residential plots, commercial plots and housed given b the Army.
The minister said that in view of “this serious lapse on the part of to-date unknown functionaries the Finance minister” he directed Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Revenue Tariq Mehmood Pasha to personally lead an immediate investigation into the violation of tax law and breach Federal Bureau of Revenue data, affix responsibility and submit a report within 24 hours
