A video shared by the ANI news agency showed Prime Minister Modi giving sugarcane to an elephant and stroking the animals lovingly. During this interaction, PM Modi was accompanied by Bomman and Belli, who were standing next to him. Apart from this, PM Modi also met and discussed with the best performing tiger reserve field managers in the recently concluded fifth round of management effectiveness assessment exercise.
Meanwhile, director Kartiki Gonsalves and producer Guneet Monga, who were behind the acclaimed documentary The Elephant Whisperers, sat down with Prime Minister Modi last month. During the meeting, Prime Minister Modi congratulated the duo on their success and expressed his pride in their achievement.
