A railway worker filed a cheating complaint with Thane police against an Ayurvedic treatment centre, an official said on Sunday. The railway painter said the Center tricked him out of Rs 15.22 lakhs by promising treatment for his wife who is suffering from cancer, the Naupada Police Station officer said. “He claimed that there had been no improvement in his wife's condition since she began treatment in February of last year. Also, after some time, the center's staff started accusing two people from the Ayurvedic center on Saturday with cheating and other crimes. " he said.
No one has been arrested in the case and the allegations are being investigated, he added.
