Police said there is an ongoing investigation. (Representative) A shocking incident has been revealed in Patna, the capital of Bihar, where a stray dog was allegedly raped by a man. The incident happened on Holi day on March 8. Video of the gruesome act also went viral on social media. The alleged incident took place in Phulwari Sharif's Faisal settlement.
On CCTV footage, an unknown person is seen openly committing the unnatural act with a dog in the settlement. Following this, an NGO filed a request on this issue at the Phulwari Sharif Police Station.
After that, the Patna Police started investigating the case.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Phulwari Sharif Manish Kumar said: "An application has arrived and an appeal has been made with the document. Action will be taken under the ICC and Animals Act. The case is under investigation."
The investigation is ongoing.
