According to police, the woman was raped by her husband and stepfather. (Representative) A special court on Friday sentenced a man and his son for raping the latter's wife. Chandapur resident Amarnath (60) and his son Chandraraj (35) were sentenced to 14 and 10 years of rigorous imprisonment.
Giving details of the incident, Police Superintendent Anil Kumar said the 30-year-old woman was physically assaulted and raped by her husband and stepfather.
The duo were out on bail but were arrested after the court verdict, Kumar said.
