Priyanka Chaturvedi and Amruta Fadnavis tease each other. A complaint by the wife of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Amruta Fadnavis, against a designer has sparked a war of words on Twitter. Rajya Sabha MP Priyanka Chaturvedi and Amruta Fadnavis taunt each other over the bizarre case involving alleged threats and conspiracy. A woman named "Aniksha" and her father were named by Amruta Fadnavis in a First Information Report (FIR) filed on February 20. She alleges that the woman tried to bribe her, offering her Rs 1 crore to intervene in a criminal case. implicating her father, who allegedly evaded arrest for years. Aniksha has also reportedly offered to give information about bookmakers "to help you make money."
Aniksha is the daughter of a wanted bookie, Anil Jaisinghani.
Priyanka Chaturvedi, leader of Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray, shared a press clipping about Ms Fadnavis's complaint and said she was shocked how the daughter of a criminal managed to gain access to the home of Devendra Fadnavais, who is also the home minister of the state. It has also called for an independent investigation into the matter, as the Maharashtra police told Mr. Fadnavis.
In a riotous response, Amruta Fadnavis said the MP had falsely accused her of helping Axis Bank and was now challenging her honesty.

Based on Ms. Fadnavis's complaint, the Mumbai Police charged the woman and her father with conspiracy under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
The woman reportedly first contacted Ms. Fadnavis in November 2021. After that, she met her 16 times, Ms. Fadnavis said.
When they met, the woman claimed to have lost her mother, according to the FIR. Ms. Fadnavis alleged that the woman had previously lied to her bodyguard and sat in her car. He allegedly told her that his father had given the police information about bookmakers and offered him a scheme to make money.
