Abdul Karim Masjid is located in the Halwaiyan district of Aligarh A mosque in Aligarh has been covered with a tarpaulin ahead of the Holi festival to ensure it does not stain with colour. Following the instructions of the Holi Police Administration, in an effort to maintain peace and order, Abdul Karim Masjid at Aligarh's most delicate intersection, the "Halwaiyan" is covered with a tarpaulin at night so that it does not stain of colors during Holi.

Notably, just like in past years on Holi, the hotspot mosque was also covered with tarpaulins at night so that no one would throw color at the mosque due to Holi.

Haji Mohammad Iqbal, from the mosque's management body, said: "As per the instructions of the administration, we are covering the mosque with a tarpaulin so that no one can throw paint or dirt inside the mosque."

Resident Aqeel Pahalwan said, "Since the Yogi Adityanath government came to Uttar Pradesh, the mosque has been covered for about 6-7 years. With the help of the administration, we are covering the mosque so that no one throws away the color or the dirt". ."

With Holi just around the corner, the festival celebrations have already started.
