Speaking strongly to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his accusation that the Trinamool Congress was in cahoots with the BJP, Trinamool leader Mahua Moitra said on Thursday that his party was the only national alternative to the BJP. The Trinamool MP's comments came in response to Rahul Gandhi's claim on Wednesday that West Bengal's ruling party was challenging Meghalaya Assembly polls to "help" the BJP win.
