India wants to put debt relief at the forefront of discussions in financial negotiations.
The G20 finance and central bankers will meet in India next week on the one-year anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine to discuss the growing debt problems of developing countries, cryptocurrency regulation and the global recession. The meeting on February 22-25 at the Nandi Hills summer retreat near Bangalore is the first major event of the Indian G20 presidency and will be followed by a meeting of foreign ministers on March 1-2 in New Delhi.
