The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is searching around 60 locations in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala as part of a massive campaign against suspects with links to the banned terrorist organization ISIS, the sources said.
The investigation is ongoing in connection with the explosions last year in Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu and Mangaluru in Karnataka, they said. The blast in Coimbatore killed Jameza Mubin, who was questioned by the central anti-terror agency over alleged links to Islamic State in 2019, police said.
