The BRS hopes to rally non-BJP and non-Congress forces, along with others opposed to Odisha's BJD ruler, to target at least four Lok Sabha seats out of the state's 21 by the Odisha elections in 2024. It is also targeting 30 mounting seats.
Beyond Odisha, BRS is trying to build its presence in several states where KCR has met with farm leaders and others who may be interested in leaving the BJP or Congress to join.
At the Gamangs membership event, KCR said that BRS was launched "to change the future of India", so several Odisha leaders came and joined. Apart from Giridhar Gamang, his wife and son, former Odisha MPs Navin Nanda, Ratha Das, Arjun Das and Raghav Sethi were among those who joined BRS.
KCR added: “Many governments and leaders have changed, but the fate of the farmers and the poor has not changed... Because when there are elections, the parties win but the people lose. A serious change is needed in the Indian political landscape."
He recalled the farmers' protest against the Center's controversial farm laws in the nation's capital. “I called 'Ab Ki Baar, Kisan Ki Sarkar.' Several leaders have become MPs and MPs, but this time (in the 2024 general election) only farmers are expected to become MPs and MPs. »
He reiterated BRS's promise to provide free electricity to farmers across the country.

The sources said that KCR is also planning a big meeting in Delhi between February 14 and March 12 as a show of unity between non-BJP and Congress parties, and wants to invite Mamata Banerjee from Bengal, Nitish Kumar from Bihar, in addition to the leaders who have already taken the stage with him. These may include former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav.
