Description
A 5th grade girl is being treated for injuries sustained as she was reportedly pushed from the first floor classroom of her school by her teacher in Delhi's central district in the morning hours of friday.
The girl's class teacher has been detained by the police in connection with the incident under the section 307 of IPC which for attempt to murder reported from Prathmik Vidyalaya in the Model Basti area opposite Filimistan.
As per DCP Shweta Chauhan “The class teacher, namely Geeta Deshwal, beat the student, with a small pair of scissors and threw her out of the classroom on the first floor,” adding that the child was admitted to the Bara Hindu Rao Hospital, where doctors declared her out of danger.
