Nestle reveals reason for KitKat chocolate bar price increase

Pet products and ice cream posted the largest increases in the first three months of 2023 The price of KitKats has increased by 10% as Nestlé has increased its prices by almost 10% on average in the first three months of 2023. The Swiss food and drink giant said ice cream and pet food saw particularly strong gains.

The group, which owns brands including Haagen Dazs, said prices for ice cream and dairy products rose 11.8% in the quarter, and pet food brands such as Felix saw a 12.2% rise.
