Corden returns to the UK to spend more time with his wife and children James Corden's tenure on The Late Late Show is over. The British presenter presents his last episode tonight (April 27) after an eight-year run on the CBS talk show.
First up, viewers will be treated to a special Carpool Karaoke with Adele at 9pm ET, the video of which was shared earlier this week.
The Late Late Show airs at 12:37 am ET. Before the show, Corden teased the return of some of his favorite guests, including Harry Styles, Will Ferrell, and Tom Cruise.
Cruise, Corden said, was "adamant" about filming one last stunt for the series after previously putting Corden through a test ride on a jet to promote his 2022 blockbuster Top Gun: Maverick.
The duo will perform "one last over-the-top skit," in which the duo will crash into a Broadway performance of The Lion King.

The Late Late Show shared an extended version of Corden's latest special with Cruise on the show's YouTube channel. As it turns out, the pair also played a rhino during The Lion King's opening sequence.

In a video shared by Pop Crave on Twitter, Will Ferrell smashes Corden's desk to pieces with a massive hammer.
During the latest prime-time Carpool Karaoke special, Corden opened up about his feelings when he entered Television City, the CBS studio in Los Angeles, for the last time.
Corden's co-writer Ian Karmel assured the host that it probably won't be the last time, as Dancing With The Stars is also being filmed on the lot.
Laughing, Corden agreed, saying, "It'll be me, Rudy Guiliani and Tucker Carlson."
"Tucker Carlson and I are doing the cha-cha," he added.
"It will be me, Rudy Guiliani and Tucker Carlson," joked the presenter.
Presenting a montage of highlights from the past eight years, Corden began to get emotional as he thanked his show's team. "You all should be immensely proud," he said.
"It's been a crazy eight years," Corden said, while Adele said she was "very, very sad" at his passing.
"With people getting older and people we miss...it's time to go home," he said.
In his announcement last year, Corden said he and his wife made the decision to return to the UK following a discussion about their 11-year-old son.
Adele tearfully told the Gavin and Stacey star: "I'm just not ready to go back yet or I'll go back to you."
"I'm just not ready to go back yet, or I'll be back with you guys," the singer told the outgoing host of "Late Late Show."
The couple get emotional in this special as they talk about their long friendship.
"We were on our way home and my mood had changed," Adele shared. "It was the first year that I felt like I had to take responsibility for being an adult. When I left Simon the year before and stuff like that.
The "Easy On Me" singer tearfully praised Corden and his family for their support after Konecki's split in 2019.
She explained that Corden also told her that he felt vulnerable to comments about her on the Internet.
Corden has been embroiled in a number of controversies over the years, including the 2022 Balthazar restaurant scandal and allegations of prank theft.
"I was overwhelmed by how you managed to take everything I felt about myself and life and put it into a verse," he said through tears. "It is the greatest privilege that... from a conversation between two friends, you can create something that takes my breath away."
