The Crown Jewels will be screened at the Tower of London before touring Britain's iconic locations as part of plans to tell the coronation story to thousands of people. The jewels will be screened on the famous London landmark in the fall before touring the country back and forth. The Crown and Coronation exhibition, produced by Historic Royal Palaces and Luxmuralis, aims to explore the history of coronations in an immersive musical and visual spectacle.
The government has also announced new screening locations for the coronation of the king and queen consort, bringing the total to 57, with more than 100,000 people expected to watch the ceremony live in their hometown.
To mark coronation weekend, communities are encouraged to come together for Sunday block parties after the service at Westminster Abbey on Saturday 6 May.
More than 32,000 large lunch boxes have been ordered for the coronation, and around 50,000 neighborhood events are planned, expected to be attended by millions.
There will also be hundreds of thousands of opportunities to participate in The Big Help Out on the Bank Holiday Monday awarded to celebrate the coronation.
The project aims to ensure that the Coronation leaves a lasting legacy in communities by inspiring and recruiting a new generation of volunteers.
Opportunities include the chance to volunteer with Scouts, the Royal Voluntary Service, guide dogs and smaller local volunteer groups.

"It promises to be full of memorable experiences for the whole country, with millions of us witnessing a historic moment for the UK and the Commonwealth.
“Every part of the UK should have the chance to see and feel the coronation joy, and this giant light projection will give communities the chance to see priceless centuries-old royal treasures up close for the next year.

"With Coronation Weekend less than a month away, there are countless opportunities for people to be a part of it, whether it's watching the service on the big screen in their community, hosting their own Big Luncheon for family, friends and neighbors or volunteer at The Big Help Out to give something back.

The Tower of London will also delve deeper than ever into the history of the Crown Jewels with a new exhibition.
The display at the House of Jewels, where the priceless collection is held in armed custody, will for the first time explore the origins of some of the precious objects, including the controversial Koh-i-noor diamond.
It marks the first major change to the House of the Crown Jewels in more than a decade and will open to the public just weeks after the coronation.
