The BBC has been recognized in Bafta Television and Craft nominations for its coverage of the Queen's funeral and Platinum Jubilee celebrations. The broadcaster's coverage of the state funeral, including the Westminster Abbey service and the coffin procession through London, featured comments from presenters including Huw Edwards, Kirsty Young and David Dimbleby, who all came out of retirement for the event. In June 2022, the BBC marked 70 years of the Queen's reign with a concert special, Platinum Jubilee: Party At The Palace, featuring performances by Sir Rod Stewart, Diana Ross, Duran Duran and Queen + Adam Lambert.
During one skit, the Queen delighted Paddington by revealing that she shared his love of jam sandwiches, while opening her bag to reveal a stash of the well-known bear's snack staple.

There's also a nomination for ITV in the Emerging Talent: Factual category where director Jason Osbourne is recognized for Our Jubilee on ITV1, in which black Britons tell personal stories from the Queen's Jubilee years.
