Midweek newspapers focus on the Chancellor's budget package which is expected to include a major expansion of childcare support. The Daily Telegraph, Financial Times, i and Daily Express report on Jeremy Hunt's £4bn childcare offer to get parents back to work. The story is also published by The Times, Daily Mail and The Guardian.

Also covering the budget, the Daily Mirror uses its front page to call on the Chancellor to tackle inequality and child hunger and reward key workers.

Elsewhere, Metro says a Russian fighter jet shot down an American spy drone.

And the Daily Star says Bear Grylls "has praised the health benefits of eating organs like liver, heart and testicles."
