Fatboy Slim showed his support for Match Of The Day host Gary Lineker during a live performance on Friday night. The face of the BBC football pundit was featured as part of the visual effects used on the DJ's set at the O2 Victoria Warehouse, Manchester. Other faces, including Prince and Greta Thunberg, were cast on the show.
As Lineker's image appeared behind him, Fatboy Slim turned to applaud the expert, encouraging the crowd to do the same and drawing cheers.
"Enough respect #I'mWithGary," the DJ, real name Norman Quentin Cook, said as he shared the video on Twitter.
The presenter tangled with impartiality after comparing the language used to launch a new government asylum policy to 1930s Germany on Twitter.
Earlier on Friday, the BBC announced that Lineker would be taking a break from presenting the featured show until a "clear and agreed position" was reached on his use of social media.
The station's George Lineker retweeted the Fatboy Slim video, saying it "is so elitist."
