Introduction
A single engine aircraft made in Victoria, Australia. This plane has capacity of 8 people including the pilot. This aircraft took its first flight in March 3, 1995.
In December 2000 this aircraft was introduced in the market and 240 of these planes are delivered as of now August 25, 2019.
This aircraft is mainly used in search and rescue operations. Lesotho Defence Force is using it for air patrolling.
On July 14, 2019 one Airvan crashed in Sweden killing all the 9 on board. After this in Australia the CASA ordered the grounding of these aircrafts.
