Introduction
Gulfstream Aerospace made a twin engine jet airplane which is know as Gulfstream G650. It is a business jet airplane which can carry 11 to 18 passengers. Gulfstream Aerospace mad this jet as the largest jet made by the company and also this is the fastest jet among all jets made by the company.
It started in 2005 when company started the program of making this jet and in 2008 they revealed this project to the public.
G650 has a range of about 13,000 Km and it can have bar, kitchen and other entertainment features. The first delivery of this aircraft was made on December 27, 2012 to an American citizen Preston Henn.
Development
It all started in 2005 when company decided to make a jet and in 2008 they announced this to public that company is making a jet which will be fastest, largest and expensive as well among all the jets made by the same company.
On September 26, 2009 G650 taxied for the first time with its own power. On September 29, 2019 it was rolled out to public.
The Gulfstream G650 had its first flight on November 25, 2009. There was also an incident during the testing as in April 2011 this aircraft crashed shortly after take off. After this incident all the test aircrafts were grounded till May 2011.
Finally, G650 received the certification on September 7, 2012 and company can deliver it to the customers.
