Introduction

It was July 17, 2007 when the TAM Airline Flight was scheduled from Porto Alegre to Sao Paulo in Brazil. The aircraft was Airbus A320-233 there were 187 people on board including 171 passengers and 6 crew members. Unfortunately no one survived the crash.

Runway 35L was clear and the flight 3054 initiated the landing process. Everything was as per the process and aircraft touched down normally. At this moment it was at the speed of 170 km/h, it was strange when aircraft was not slowing down normally and was veering towards the left side. This moment was very crucial for the pilot he tried to stop the aircraft but all in vein and the aircraft rammed into the 4 story building which was the TAM Express Facility. That building had office and ware house of TAM.

Right after collision of the aircraft with the building the explosion occurred and resulted in large fire.

Flight data recorder information released by Brazilian Authorities and investigation was still on. In September 2009 the  final report of the accident was released according to which the right engine thrust lever was still on accelerate mode where as the left engine thrust lever was in idle mode this resulted in the aircraft's veering towards left. However, it was a human error or the mechanical error it is still unknown.
